Notes on set-up and avoiding interference:

1. Visit http://dtv.gov/maps to confirm available channels in your area

2. You can also visit https://www.tvfool.com/, which provides more detail about signal analysis and tower locations

3. Signal reception depends on line of sight obstructions and distance to broadcast towers. Line of sight obstructions such as mountains, valleys, trees, large buildings, etc., will reduce signal reception

4. Some electrical causes of interference can be other household appliances such as, hair dryers, electric drills, doorbell transformers, light switches, smartphone chargers, computing devices, washing machines, clothes dryers, fluorescent lights, LED lights, or garage door openers

5. Please remove the amplifier if your house is close to a broadcast tower (within 35 Miles)

6. Place the antenna near a window (strongly recommended). Or try different locations, putting the antenna as high as you can. Always remember to re-scan for channels after moving the antenna

7. Connect the TV antenna to “Ant In” on the back of your HDTV

8. In the TV’s setup menu, change the scan type to “Antenna” or “Air”

9. Scan for channels using your TV’s “Channel Search” or “Channel Scan” and be ready to enjoy free TV
